Often in the office, instead of giving high fives, taps on the back, or simple "great job",we preform a simple "fist bump" also known as a "props". This simple gesture is offered as a reward from anything from a good joke to a brilliant breakthrough. There are variations of the "fist bump", some include an "explode" after the two fists connect- this is dependent on the level of awesome that spurred the gesture in the first place. Just like in the office, different levels of awesome are reached online and should go rewarded. Here are different ways (in no particular order) to give a "fist bump" online:
